Ameri-Cares Tsunami Relief

Giving Back to the Community. It's the mission of Resurgens Orthopaedics' Charitable Foundation locally and even abroad. In response to the horrific tragedy of the Tsunamis in Southeast Asia, Resurgens physicians and employees joined together generously donating $17,784.00 to provide monetary aid to the victims. Employee contributions were equally matched by all Resurgens physicians and donated directly to the Americares organization.

Resurgens Charitable Foundation was formed in 2001 and undertook their first fund-raising effort in support of The American Red Cross and the September 11th tragedy. Resurgens Orthopaedics Charitable Foundation was established for the purpose of funding worthwhile community projects with particular interest in building all abilities playgrounds for children in the metro Atlanta area. Completed projects include a playground at Hammond Park in Fulton County, a playground in Grayson, and our newest facility at D.L. Stanton Park near Turner Field.
