New All Abilities Playground At Alpharetta Elementary School

Alpharetta Elementary School is home to a new accessible playground designed to accommodate everyone. A collaboration between the City of Alpharetta, the Fulton County Board of Education, Resurgens Charitable Foundation, North Metro Miracle League and Northside Hospital; the new accessible playground includes a wheelchair adaptive swing, an upgraded trail surface complete with sensory environments and improved landscaping which provides a safer and inclusive experience.

The playground will be open to the community when school is not in session.

Dr. John Gleason, President of Resurgens Charitable Foundation, was in attendance at the ribbon cutting (background with navy blue mask).

Resurgens Charitable Foundation has contributed to more than 20 specially designed "all abilities" playgrounds throughout the metro Atlanta area.
