A 5-year vision for the restoration of Daniel Stanton Park will soon become a reality thanks to the support of Resurgens Orthopaedics� Charitable Foundation. Located in downtown Atlanta, just south of Turner Stadium, the property will serve as an all abilities playground for area residents.

CowParade Atlanta - 2003

Cow Parade is a public art event where local artists paint designs on life sized fiberglass cows. After being on display throughout Atlanta for 3 months the cows were auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting local charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society Southeast Division. Resurgens Foundation sponsored 3 cows and raised over $16,000 at the auction.

Unity Place at Bay Creek - 2003

Resurgens Foundation contributed funds to Unity Place at Bay Creek Park in Grayson. This facility houses a playground and baseball fields developed for children and young adults with disabilities. It provides them with the opportunity to enjoy recreational activities and team sports.

Hammond Park - 2002

Resurgens Foundation, Fulton County Parks and Recreation, and local civic groups from Sandy Springs started the planning process of building a playground in Hammond Park which would enable children with disabilities the chance to play along side their friends and siblings. The park was completed in the summer of 2003.
